The terms below are words or phrases used in iTales. This provides a quick reference to them and you should get to know while in this RPG.
Transformation - An act, process, or instance of transforming or being transformed into a new likeness with improved Power Level.
Power Up Transformation - This is the same as a transformation but no physical transformation is taking place, only the power level boost. Also the fighter may have increased muscle tone, size, or height.
Speed - This is the amount of speed your fighter has. A higher speed means greater chance of out maneuvering your opponent in a battle.
Dodge - The fighter moves out of the way of an attack taking no damage.
Block - The fighter blocks the attack taking half the damage.
Deflect - The fighter hits the attack away from them taking only 25% of the damage. This only works with energy type attacks or missile physical attacks.
Custom Combo - A combo is the set of punchs, kicks, energy blasts, and grapple attacks done. The maximum hits in a combo is 5. Some energy attacks can be used once in a combo and will be identified in the description of an energy attack.
Finishing Attack (Combo) - This is the final hit in a combo (5th strike) which does an considerable amount of damage, finishing off the combo set. A finishing move is identified in the description of an energy attack.
Physical Attack - Melee attacks which do physical damage. All physical attacks that are possible fit into this category
Physical Damage - This is the damage done by melee attacks or some types of energy attacks.
Energy Damage - This is the damage done by energy type attacks.
Technique - These are moves which improve attacks in battles or aid you in battle.
Energy Attack - These are strong attacks which require Energy to perform.
Combo - A combo is a type of attack which has multiple strikes making up the attack. A combo could be a physical attack or energy attack depending on its description.
Super Energy Attack - These are powerful attacks which require energy to perform. Most powerful of the energy attacks which have 25% Guard penetration. (so -2.5% opponents guard if they have 10% guard.)
Finishing Move - You final energy attack or super energy attack that you use to finish off your opponent to kill them.
Guard - Guard is the defensive state of your fighter, which reduces damage against you. The more guard a fighter has the more damage they can protect themselves against. This can be influenced by outside sources.
Armor Rating - Armor Rating is the % of protection you have while equipping Battle Armor. The more Armor Rating a fighter has, the less damage they take in battle. This cannot be influenced by outside sources.
Record - This is the win/lose tally of your fighter
Energy - This is the energy within your figher. 100% of your Fighters Power Level is your fighers energy.
Hit Points (HP) - This is your fighters life force which keeps him alive. 75% of your Fighters Power Level is your fighers HP.
Power Level - This is the Power that your fighter has. The more power level you have the more stronger your attacks are and your hp and energy increase.
Personality - This is your fighters alliance to Evil, Good, or remains Neutral
PUR - Stands for Power Up Rating. This is hidden energy thats powerful which could enhance certain attacks. You gain PUR by landing successful attacks on your opponent. It has the ability to allow you to transform or use certain attacks requiring PUR.
Training Gear - These are the items that you use to further increase your power level increase while training, sparing, or battling.
Battle Gear - These are the items that you use to improved Armor Rating.
Skill Points - These are the points that you put into a specific attack that increases its damage. A skill point in an attack will rename it to the attack Lvl 2.
Battle Experience - These are experience points earn which show how much experience you are in battles. More importantly they allow you to access transformations if you reach the Power Level requirement and increase your guard.
Training Points - These are points which are used to redeem Attacks and Techniques for your fighter to use. Training points also allow you to access specific training areas. Every time something requires Training points, you lose the amount of points it lists to obtain it.
Successful Attack- This is an attack that is not blocked, dodged, or deflected hitting your opponent.
Failed Attack- This is an attack that is blocked, dodged, or deflected by your opponent.
Light Year- Distance light travels in a year.
